my birthday month!

• finally sold some books at a used bookstore
• started playing magic the gathering a bit again
• had a lot of fun playing with one of the doctor who commander sets on cockatrice, really wish i could buy a physical version now
• also busted out my physical commander deck and played with it again
• celebrated my birthday
• didn't party because i have no money and the concept of planning something was getting me nervous
• ate pancakes for breakfast
• ate salgadinhos and docinhos (T/N: typical brazilian birthday party food, google "salgadinho de festa" and "docinho de festa")
• bingewatched movies
• tenacious d in the pick of destiny
• my own private idaho
• the room
• we're all going to the world's fair
• slumdog millionaire
• went to the birthdays of people dear to me
• participated in a pikmin bloom community day
• met a friend i was waiting a long time to meet
• went to the botanical garden for the first time and saw a lot of capybaras
• finally bought new sneakers

• hadn't seen it before. it's really entertaining. i've seen a lot of people saying that People Don't Understand, this movie is Against The Police but i mean. idk. it's really hard not to root for wagner moura
• tenacious d in the pick of destiny
• i liked it even more than i thought i would. but it felt innapropriate to watch without being high

• i had forgotten it was based on shakespeare and when i remembered after 1/3 of the movie had already passed everything started to make a bit more sense

• basically was the best movie watching experience of the movie binge. obviously was not the best movie of the movie binge
• we're all going to the world's fair
• the best movie of the movie binge! in my opinion. i think it's perfect, nothing to comment. i really like these youtube style horror genres
• slumdog millionaire
• i had really high hopes and was let down a bit because the pacing isn't very good. but it's fun either way
• the garfield movie
• got the ticket to watch it in theaters for free so it already made me more predisposed to like it. it's fine, i don't get why people hated on it. it's nothing amazing but it's a fun lighthearted silly movie

• played a lot to prepare for dawntrail AND played dawntrail. but i'll leave the dawntrail thoughts for next month because i only finished the MSQ on july 7th
